So much time spent outdoors and hiking this past week with @moonmanveganfitness has made my heart so happy ❤️

@moonmanveganfitness took me to this amazing restaurant in Victoria, and I can’t stop thinking about how good everything was 🤤

We started with a Mac and cheese skillet, which had both the perfect flavor and texture 🧀 I rated this a 9.5/10 and rank it in the top 5 mac and cheeses I’ve ever had!

For pizza, I picked the jalapeño popper which had the BEST Parmesan cream sauce, fresh sliced jalapeño, cashew mozzarella, cheddar, tofu feta, bacon, hot ‘honey’ and scallion. Definitely one of the most satisfying pizza topping combinations I’ve ever had 🍕 I gave this a 9.6/10.

Justin’s pick was the Pesto chickn bacon ranch pizza. We liked the sundried tomato, cashew mozz, and fresh arugula on this one 😋 I gave this one a 7/10.

For dessert, this caramel biscoff cannoli was one of the best sweet treats I’ve ever tasted 🤯 9.8/10.

@virtuous_pie is a must stop vegan restaurant in Victoria, and they have other locations too!

Let’s get some of the best vegan desserts in downtown St. Pete 🍩

We made two trips to @valkyriedoughnuts_stpete and @valhallabakery_stpete last week. One for doughnuts, and one for dessert bars 😍

Here’s how we ranked and reviewed these vegan sweets:

🍏 Apple Fritter
Justin: 9/10
Melissa: 7.7/10
On the car ride to St. Pete, Justin was just saying how much he enjoys apple fritters. So of course we were pleasantly surprised to see them in the dessert case, and had to order one for ourselves! This was perfectly sweet, chewy, and we loved the fresh apple pieces throughout.

🍫 Tiramisu Bar
Justin: 8/10
Melissa: 8/10
This was Justin’s pick and his favorite of the dessert bars. Melissa isn’t usually the biggest fan of tiramisu, but this one pleasantly surprised her. There wasn’t an overwhelming coffee flavor, but each layer of the bar was absolutely delicious.

🍪 Cookie Butter Blondie
Justin: 8/10
Melissa: 8.8/10
A cookie butter fanatic, this was Melissa’s pick. The bar itself was a 10/10, we just felt it had a bit too much sweet frosting for our liking.

🔥 S’mores Bar
Justin: 7/10
Melissa: 9.5/10
We asked the staff what they recommend, and we are SO glad we gave this dessert a try! The S’mores bar ended up being Melissa’s top pick, outranking the cookie butter blondie 😱

❣️Raspberry Filled Doughnut
Justin: 9/10
Melissa: 9/10
Justin thought the amount of jam in the middle was a bit much, but that’s exactly why it was Melissa’s favorite doughnut 😋

🍓 Strawberry Sprankle Doughnut
Justin: 8/10
Melissa: 8.5/10
Did you even go to Valkyrie if you didn’t get the Strawberry Sprankle? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Justin felt that the icing was a bit too sweet, but Melissa loved how the strawberry flavor complemented the perfectly chewy doughnut.
